Pure White Quartz worktop, Hob Cut-Out Alteration – Mirfield

We altered the opening in this pure white quartz worktop on site in Mirfield to accommodate a new induction hob. The new hob was then positioned in the altered opening, allowing the customer to retain their existing worktop.

Ubatuba Granite Worktop and Upstand Repair – Hebden Bridge

The customer accidentally cracked their Ubatuba granite worktop and rear upstand while attempting to level the kitchen base units using a bottle jack. The damage affected the upstand behind the hob and the front of the hob cut-out.

We were called in to repair the damage. We filled the cracks, sanded the repaired areas and rebuffed them to a gloss finish, then placed the hob back into the opening.

Dekton Worktop and Island Bar Repairs – Dodworth, Barnsley

We repaired damaged edges and corners on Dekton worktops and an island bar at a property in Dodworth, Barnsley.

The damaged areas were rebuilt using colour-matched resins, with gold flecks added to the pigment to blend with the surrounding finish. We then carefully finished the repairs using a delicate diamond polish.

Dekton is a particularly hard material to work with, making careful shaping, colour matching and finishing important to this repair.

Dekton Worktop Re-Levelling and Upstand Repair – Dodworth, Barnsley

At the same property, a long run of Dekton worktop containing a hob cut-out had dropped over time, leaving a gap between the worktop and the rear upstand.

We re-levelled the worktop and applied new adhesive along the rear joint to bond the upstand to the worktop, helping strengthen the connection and leaving a neat finish.

Black Quartz Worktop Restoration – Highburton, Huddersfield

This black quartz worktop in Highburton, Huddersfield had become dull and matt, with a faded polish. We suspected that a harsh cleaning product may have affected the surface.

We re-sanded and repolished the whole worktop to restore its shine. The photographs show the marked surface before restoration and the finished result.
