Refitting a broken section at the front of a sink
This granite worktop in Huddersfield had a broken section at the front of the sink. The original project photographs show the missing piece and the exposed area beneath it.
The repair
The work involved refitting the detached granite section and restoring the front of the sink run. The photographs show the damaged area and the completed repair.
The result
The broken section was returned to the worktop, restoring the front edge around the sink. A broken piece does not automatically mean the whole worktop must be replaced, although the condition of the stone and its support need individual assessment.
